9th July - Trees retreating and Bramble bashing
The session is set for 3 hours, but only me and the ranger have to stay till the end!
Please do feel free to pop along and only stay for as long as you want.
Parking: Off road parking is available at the headline coordinates. Please note that this is NOT the main Robinswood Hill car park.
Where: We will meet at the headline coordinates and then will make our way along to the gorse bench, where we are depends on the progress from previous CITOs, I will put out an announcement and add a waypoint with our updated location nearer the time.
What: We will be trimming back any brambles that have grown over the path and any trailing trees. We will be doing light trimming so that we don't disturb any nesting birds.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance. We ask you to bring your own gloves and if you have then shears and loppers. Don't worry if you don't have them as the ranger will have a supply.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
Please do bring a drink as it can be thirsty work!
