🌿 FOOTPATH TRIMMING AT GREEN LANE RESERVE 🌿
The ranger and myself will be on site for the 2 hour duration of this CITO event
but please feel free to turn up whenever is convenient and just stay as long as you wish - all help is welcome.
Parking: There is some on-street parking on Laxton Road (or in many of the other side streets nearby).
Where: We will meet up at 09:00 at the start of the path that leads to Green Lane Reserve (see waypoint); or if arriving later, come and find us working around the path edges in the Reserve.
What: We will trimming the footpath edges around the Reserve, cutting back any encroaching brambles and undergrowth, to keep the fence and footpaths clear.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance and tools. Please bring work gloves if possible, and if you wish to bring your own tools (secateurs, shears, loppers) please do so. Don't worry if you don't have tools as the Ranger will have a supply.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by Council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
We will have a tea break mid-session so you may like to bring a drink/snack. Homemade cake will be provided 🙂
