Cache nascosta nella foresta che avvolge l'ultimo tratto del fiume Tagliamento, un paio di km prima di sfociare nel Mar Adriatico. In questo ambiente, ancora conservato allo stato naturale nonostante l'imponenete urbanizzazione che ha interessato il litorale adriatico nella seconda metà del Novecento, le specie arboree prevalenti sono il leccio, il pino nero d'Austria e il pino marittimo (quest'ultimo non autoctono di questo territorio, ma importato nell'ultimo secolo dall'Italia centro-meridionale). Man mano che ci si avvicina al fiume la foresta lascia il posto agli arbusti e alla vegetazione erbacea tipica delle aree dunali costiere dell'Alto Adriatico.
L'area non è accessibile con mezzi motorizzati (inclusi monopattini e risciò elettrici), che vanno lasciati alle coordinate indicate al waypoint parcheggio. Da lì vi aspetta una passeggiata di 1 km circa fino alla cache. Non vi conviene fare i furbi proseguendo oltre perché, soprattutto d'estate, in quella zona girano spesso i Carabinieri e la Polizia Locale che fanno multe a chi guida o parcheggia dove non è consentito. Per ridurre l'impatto sull'ambiente seguite il sentiero, che vi porterà a un paio di metri dalla cache, senza inoltrarvi nella foresta. L'ecosistema dunale è molto fragile, preserviamolo!

Cache hidden in the forest that surrounds the last stretch of the Tagliamento river, a couple of km before flowing into the Adriatic Sea. In this environment, still preserved in its natural state despite the massive urbanization that affected the Adriatic coast in the second half of the 20th century, the prevalent tree species are the holm oak, the Austrian black pine and the maritime pine (the latter is not native to this territory, but imported in the last century from central-southern Italy). As you get closer to the river, the forest gives way to shrubs and herbaceous vegetation typical of the coastal dune areas of the northern Adriatic.
The area is not accessible by motorized vehicles (including electric scooters and rickshaws), that must be left at the parking waypoint coordinates. From there, a walk of about 1 km is required to reach the cache. You should not ignore prohibition signs and continue driving further because, especially in summer, police often patrol that area and fine anyone who drives or parks where it is not permitted. To reduce the impact on the environment, follow the path, which will take you a couple of meters from the cache, without going deeper into the forest. The dune ecosystem is very fragile, let's preserve it!
