Date: Thursday, July 17th
Time: noon - 12:30 PM
Place: Hanwoori Korean Garden
550 SW Campus Drive, Federal Way
A sister city is a form of legal or social agreement between two geographically and politically distinct localities for the purpose of promoting cultural and commercial ties. The City of Federal Way has such a relationship with the City of Donghae in Gangwon Province, South Korea.
This garden recently opened as a reminder of our relationship with others. The pure Korean meaning of Hanwoori is ‘we are all one.’
