25th July - Sprucing up the paths at Hucclecote
The session is set for 3 hours, but only me and the ranger have to stay till the end!
Please do feel free to pop along and only stay for as long as you want.
Parking: There is some on-street parking opposite Hucclecote Meadows Reserve on Laxton Road, see waypoint.
Where: Meet by the footpath sign just off Laxton Road at 0930 or find us in the Meadows, if you can't find us in the first field then carry on walking towards the next field where you should find us or you can message me in the app and I will come and find you.
What: Join us as we carefully tidy the paths from any brambles or low hanging branches. An assessment will be conducted prior to the event to ensure that we won't be disburbing any nesting birds.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance. We ask you to bring your own gloves, shears and loppers, but don't worry as the ranger will have a supply.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
Please do bring a drink as it can be thirsty work!
