While hunting this cache please remeber it is visable from the path, with permission, be sure not to venture far in, this park is rich in history as well as a WWIIArmy training camp. 165 acre fishing/paddeling pond, while no swimming, there is a beautiful creek to quench those hot days, at the end of The Palmetto Trail, the trail this cache is on {aprox 1/4mile}. 3 picnic areas for groups, 50 campsites, equestrian events and trails. 7054 acres of park land, and just miles from downtown life.
