This county-operated trail goes past farms, prairies and wetlands in Green Lake, Winnebago and Fond du Lac counties. The Mascoutin Valley State Trail, built on a former railroad corridor, is divided into two sections totaling 21 miles. The western section travels between Berlin and Ripon and the eastern section travels between Rosendale and the city of Fond du Lac.
There is no trailpass required.
The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Fond du Lac Parks and Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager.
