Steve the Bullfrog is a cache hidden in St. Vrain State Park with permission of the park manager, Ben. It's the first geocache hidden within this state park and something were hoping to do more of in the future. As this is at a state park, you must have a valid pass and you must observe all other applicable rules and laws within the park. I'm hopeful that with the appropriate respect of the park and enjoyment of this placement,we can hide many more within this awesome park.
Steve was inspired by a massive bullfrog my kids and I caught on one of our many trips to this park. I'll try to include a picture of him in this cache description! We made sure to take care if him and let him go so he could have many other Bullfrogs for us to enjoy chasing in the future. The primary container is a 3d printed Bullfrog and the log is in his belly. He's guarding a slightly larger container that can be used for travel bugs, some swag, and other small items. There is an unactivated FTF travel bug coin for the FTF. Please put the container back as found and be respectful of the surrounding vegetation so we can take care of this nice spot. If you like the cache, I'd also appreciate a favorite so we can show Ben how much thr geocaching community appreciates placements in awesome places like this park.
Happy caching!
