The unmarked trail, more of a path, to the highest elevation in Eckhart Park leads to a time capsule enclosed in concrete. This time capsule was sealed during the city's centennial celebration in 1946 and is scheduled to be opened in 2046 for the bicentennial. It's steep dropoff and rocky outcrops overlook the baseball field. The cache is not on or adjacent to to time capsule, but is located somewhat south and west of it. The last few feet of approach to the cache is steep and could be slippery if wet.
