This desert track shows the effects of time and weather and visits by autosports participants. There are long stretches of deep sand.
The road is in pretty good condition for a desert track. Conditions could worsen after it rains. It is not recommended for the family car. High clearance is recommended. 4WD is an advantage.
Be aware of the usual suspects in the desert; things that bite, sting, scratch, poke, etc. Uneven ground can make secure footing a concern. Step carefully. Always a good idea to bring some water along.
The cache is on Arizona State Land Trust property and geocachers must purchase a recreation permit which is available on the Arizona State Land Department's website http://asld.secure.force.com/recreationalpermit .
