Mount Bindo
With an elevation of 1,364 metres above sea level, Mount Bindo is one of the highest points on the Central Tablelands and attracts regular light snowfalls in winter. Nearby towns include the hamlet of Hampton, Jenolan Caves and the town of Oberon. As with nearby Mount Trickett and Shooters Hill, Mount Bindo is a popular destination for 'snow chasers' during the winter months.
Hopefully you don't get snowed in while you grab the cache, but sometimes you never 'snow' whats going to happen.
Cache is a mint tin stuck to something magnetic. Plenty of parking nearby and suitable for SUV, 4WD and mountain bikes in dry conditions. The picture shows Mount Bindo with a light dusting of snow!
