[DEU] Auf einem Waldstück oberhalb der Gilfenklamm sind noch Reste der ehemals imposanten Anlage der Burg Reifenegg zu sehen. Erhalten sind allerdings nur spärliche Mauerreste der Ringmauer und des Palas sowie der mächtige Wohnturm, der mit seinen sorgfältig gearbeiteten Buckelquadern zu den eindrucksvollsten seiner Art in Tirol zählt.
Die Burganlage verlor bereits im ausgehenden Mittelalter an Bedeutung und ist seit dem 17. Jahrhundert eine Ruine.

However, only sparse remains of the curtain wall and the palace, as well as the mighty residential tower, which, with its carefully crafted ashlars, is one of the most impressive of its kind in Tyrol, remain.
The castle complex lost its importance in the late Middle Ages and has been a ruin since the 17th century.
