The blueway here is surrounded by concrete, construction and car industries, but the water is approachable and there is a metro station (Jitang) only 500m away along Jitang Changgeng Middle Street (姬堂长庚中街). The water seems clean, which is impressive considering the industries around it, and kids play in and around the water under the nearby bridge during summer.
It is possible that there is a less appealing street than 姬堂长庚中街 in Huangpu, but candidates are hard to think of. The street will surely be transformed in future years when the concrete production facilities, truck parking and construction materials give way to the new development following the recently opened metro station so close by.
