Welcome to College Hill Park
This park was once home to the Poughkeepsie Collegiate School, which stood where the Pavilion currently stands, and even hosted Frederick Douglas in 1858 where he delivered an address. That building burnt down in 1917, and in 1935 the Pavilion was built. Just a walk away is the City of Poughkeepsie's reservoir and the College Hill Golf course.
