Travel along the North South trail following the markers. You will find the cache inside an ammo box; there you will find items such as a golf ball, oil can, Newport Bridge token, gold casino coin from Texas, box of strike anywhere matches, and more.
The cache is located in the Carolina Management Area in Richmond and is privy to hunters; as can be told by the deer stand in a nearby tree.
The cache is located just off of the North/South trail and is well marked. The trail runs for 70 miles along the western edge of Rhode Island and is great for day hiking and mountain biking.
The cache is located along the floodplain of the Meadow Brook adjoining a wetland. Take in all the beauty of the wetland and the glacial features leftover from the last ice age that covered this very cache with almost a mile of ice 14,000 years ago.
