East Granby Farms Park. road in has been plowed for this new park. you can park at N 41 57.475, W 72 43.530
cache is a small tupperware type container, 4"x4"x6" with camo tape, so bring something small. starting with some foreign coins and pewter frogs and small log book. short .3 mile hike to cache on the red marked trail with one small hill in field at start point. a little way past cache is a black marked trail that will lead to Metacoment trail. it's only .45 miles, by gps, to neoc1's New-Gate copper cache from this one. we left alot of snowshoes tracks in area for Tony to follow !! experienced geocachers should have no problems finding this one. saw a couple of cross country skiers coming down black trail and foot prints of hiker and dog going in. snow depth should not be a problem. watch out for barbed wire fencing in area of cache.
