It is time to dive into another story within the world of Otta and Dorf, back into the land of letters and read through an excerpt from another one of e’s adventures. This time e is on what starts out as a normal  research expedition until an amazing discovery is made.

e was out on an underwater research expedition with his crew including h,g and s. They were already onboard the sub and were heading into the deep and through the reefscape to collect samples and specimens of algae.

While searching the sub bumped into some sort of invisible barrier. Looking out e saw a series of massive stone rings on the ocean floor.

“Is this what I think this is?” e asked.

“I think so.” h replied. “It matches what the legend describes.”

“It's the lost city of Numberopolis.” g continued. “Supposedly the city just flipped over one day and sank into the sea.”

“The question is how do we get past the barrier?” asked s.

As if to answer that question a series of letters formed on the barrier, with the message “Turning letters into numbers is what you must do, and only then can you get through”.

Figuring this was how to get rid of the barrier e started using the subs retractable mechanical arms to adjust the letters, though nothing seemed to work.

Getting impatient, h tried to ram the sub into the barrier and push it through, causing the sub to shake and knocking everyone back. After getting back up, e looked back and saw the entire crew had been flipped on their heads.

“That's it!” e exclaimed, quickly turning back to the barrier. After a few adjustments the numbers flashed green.

Suddenly, the seafloor began to shake and the rings began to rotate down into the ground, and as the sand settled e and the crew looked in awe as the city of Numberopolis was revealed.

Once the rotation was complete a hole in the barrier opened, allowing the sub to continue forward into the city.
