Geocache Description:

崇台山は丘陵の中央に位置するピーク（標高２９９メートル）で、富岡と安中の市境にある。群馬100名山のひとつである。低山ではあるが登山路は整備され、山頂からの展望は良い。天気が良ければ、眼下に集落や谷津田を俯瞰し、浅間山や上毛三山などを遠望できる。春にはおよそ１３０本の桜が咲き誇り、花見を楽しむ人でにぎわう。　山頂にいたる道はいくつもあるが、長学寺の駐車場がある南面から尾根伝いの道がおすすめ。標高が低いので、ゆっくり歩いても短時間で登頂できる。植物や小動物など里山の自然や季節の変化を楽しみながら、何度でも訪れたい山である。
