Geocache Description:

BE WARNED!

As this reserve is a sports field, expect there to be large volumes of people in the area on weekends and Friday evenings in Summer, ans possibly other times for training. Do not attempt to park on Appin road!

Welcome to the 34th  cache in the series of Ambarvale Glen Alpine And Surrounds. A series of simple caches in the small parks and reserves in the area. The cache is a micro so please BYOP and it is not  suited to swaps or TB’s. There is no room for anything. Stealth is required as it in fairly plain view of prying muggle eyes. Please ensure the cache is closed properly and replaced carefully.

Many of the Streets, Parks and Reserves in Ambarvale have been named based on the books and life of Charles Dickens. Similarly, Rosemeadow streets etc are named after the William Shakespeare characters. Oswald was a character in one of such Shakespeare's plays.

Oswald's character in King Lear is a cunning and manipulative servant to Goneril. His actions play a significant role in the plot and themes of the play, highlighting the consequences of blind loyalty and betrayal. Oswald's demise serves as a reminder of the corrupting influence of power.
