Cârnatul de Plescoi este un aliment emblematic al Buzăului, cu origini vechi și gust recunoscut în toată țara.
Se spune că faimoșii cârnați de Plescoi au apărut atunci când ciobanii din zonă au decis să transforme carnea și condimentele simple într-un deliciu care să reziste drumurilor lungi peste dealuri. Așa au ajuns cârnații să fie emblema Buzăului – un gust autentic, afumat și plin de poveste.
Ce noroc avem că, odată cu GeoQuest-ul, se desfășoară și Festivalul Cârnaților de Plescoi, atât de renumit în zonă!
Ar fi mare păcat ca, între două ture de geocaching, să nu îți faci timp să deguști un cârnat. Eu voi fi acolo la ora 15 și voi gusta cu siguranță, dar cum timpul este doar o iluzie, rămâne alegerea ta între care două cache-uri îți oferi un boost de energie și o poză memorabila chiar la intrarea in zona festivalului 😉.
Eu voi fi fericită oricum, pentru că ți-am arătat ceva tradițional și gustos!

Legend has it that these famous sausages were born when local shepherds decided to turn simple meat and spices into a delicious treat that could survive long journeys over the hills.
That’s how the Pleşcoi sausage became a true symbol of Buzău—a smoky, authentic taste full of story.
And what luck! While GeoQuest is happening, so is the Pleşcoi Sausage Festival, one of the most beloved events in the area!
It would be a real shame not to grab a bite between two geocaching runs. I’ll be there around 3 PM to have a taste for sure—but hey, time is just an illusion, so it’s up to you which two caches you let boost your energy... and maybe earn you a memorable photo right at the festival entrance. 😉
