Location: Nudgee Beach, QLD
Date & Time: 6/9/25 7.00am finish at 8.00am
What to Bring: Gloves, rubbish bags, tongs/grabbers, sun protection, and your smile!
Hosted By: Spike
Join us for a feel-good morning of community, conservation, and caching! Spike is rolling up his sleeves to help clean up Nudgee Beach. Whether you're a regular geocacher, a first-timer, or just someone who loves the beach and wants to give back, you're welcome.
This is a small beach area that stretches in both directions from the event coordinates. We've chosen this specific time because low tide is at 6:00 am, meaning the incoming tide won't interfere with our clean-up. It’s the perfect window to access more of the shoreline and make the biggest difference.
Why a CITO?
CITO (Cache In, Trash Out®) events are all about making our natural spaces better — by removing rubbish, planting native plants, or helping maintain trails. This one’s a good old-fashioned beach clean-up!
Supplies:
Some rubbish bags will be provided, but please bring your own gloves and any gear you like to use. The more prepared we are, the more rubbish we can collect!
Stick around afterwards for a chat with fellow geocachers. Spike may even have a few cheeky pineapple-themed surprises...
Attendance Reminder:
Please log your "Will Attend" so we can coordinate numbers.
Let’s leave the beach better than we found it!
