WELCOME TO OUR ALPHABETIC ANGUS SERIES
This has been inspired by the A/Z series by Perth Pathfinders which took us to many nice places in Perthshire.
Alphabetic Angus will take you to lots of similarly nice places in our home county, and can be done in any order.
Angus is a lovely county stretching from the east coast to the high mountains in the Angus Glens. It was known as Forfarshire, with Forfar as the county town, until 1928 when Angus was adopted as the new county name.
USAN
An area on the coast, just south of Montrose. Usan comprises Fishtown, Mains and Seaton (all of Usan) and Usan House. The cache is placed at the car parking area at the farm, but you could follow the track through the field to get lovely coastal views, or go a bit further to the lighthouse.
