#17 - Cutting the Cake

There are two varieties of wedding cake out there. One is intended to be a social media click-bait work of art and look so amazing that you'd feel guilty if you so much as considered coming near it with a knife, and the other is intended to be eaten and to taste nice ... which is, basically, the whole point with cake.

What they don't tell you, however, is that for even a quite a modestly-sized wedding cake, you're going to end up with something that serves around 150 people. There were only 40 of us. Left-over cake featured prominently in our meals for the next week.
