Geocache Description:

Set in a pretty Cotswold village, this cache is away from the crowds and suitable for all ages (but not pushchairs). This cache is hard due to tree cover, poor GPS reception and a camo bag. You have been warned.

Bibury was called the "prettiest village in England" by William Morris, and it certainly has a good claim. Combining honey coloured stone buildings with a central stream, this village has everything except peace and quiet.

Hence the cache has been set a short way from the centre of the village in a relatively quiet location. It will take a short walk and climb, but this offers views over the village. The cache itself has proven to be hard to find by many cachers due to poor GPS reception and good camouflage.

A good place to park is in the road in front of Arlington Row at N51°45.545', W01°50.030'. If you want a good pub lunch before or after then we can highly recommend the Catherine Wheel at the top of the village. It has excellent food but can get busy at peak times.
