Save the date: World Postcard Day is October 1!
Geocaching and postcards are a perfect match.
Receiving a postcard and finding a geocache are more complementary than you might think. Each offers a meaningful way to connect people through discovery.
From hidden caches to handwritten notes, both geocaching and postcards foster connection, turning strangers into fellow explorers, sparked by curiosity and a sense of adventure. The best part is getting the chance to meet people from around the world who share the same excitement. Postcards and geocaches connect us to our community and make the world we explore feel just a little bit closer.
Did you know there’s an official day to celebrate postcards? October 1 is World Post Card Day! This day began in 2019 to mark the 150th anniversary of the postcard. Every year, postcard enthusiasts gather to celebrate the occasion, creating special postcards and stamps!

We will have post cards and stamps to hand out at the event. Write your post card out, then we will take a group photo and walk over to the post office to mail them.
