Geocache Description:

This is the latest (at time of listing) cache in the new CCCA series started earlier this year by PaoloB72 and continued with others who have picked up the ball, based on the original CCA series started in Blenheim by myself.

Seeing I was in town and the franchise owner, I thought it only fitting to audit the franchisee caches to ensure the cache standards are maintained. While it seems the format is slightly different to the original series in Blenheim, the franchise licence allows for that. NZDi and I personally checked all placements in the series so far and decided to add one of our own to keep the momentum going.

I recently learned that Chorus is no longer supporting this initiative, but from what I can see, there are plenty more around town to work with so this series has the potential to go on for a while yet.

The cabinet we are working with for this cache is located on Bealey Avenue just down the road from the motel we stayed at. It depicts a Pukeko and rabbit on a grassy foreground with what appears to be the Port Hills in the background. The side panels are also painted and have information on them which will be needed to work out the final  coordinates.

Using information obtained from the cabinet, you will find the cache located at:

S 43 31.ABC E 172 38.XYG

Where:

A = The number of tulips on the right hand end panel.

B = The number of seagulls on the left hand end panel multiplied by two.

C = The number of seagulls on the side panel minus the number of tulips.

X = The total number of flowers on the cabinet plus the number of seagulls on the side panel.

Y = The number of clouds multiplied by two.

Z = The total number of flowers multiplied by two.

Note: PaoloB72 has agreed to maintain this cache on my behalf.
