This cache is located in Witch Wood, a trail on the outskirts of Lytham. It is close to a path that is regularly used by walkers and dog walkers. It is a well-maintaned path supported by volunteers. It runs alongside the railway line which is fenced all the way.
There is no cycling allowed on this path so you may need to push it from the main gates. There are two entry points. One from Ballam Road, the other from a private road called Church Drive, that passes between Church Road and Ringwood Close. There is street-parking at both ends and on Ballam Road Bridge.
This is a busy area so please beware of muggles and dogs passing by in both directions!
The cache is off the main path but is NOT on railway property. The cache has a Difficulty #4, Terrain #2. As there is much tree cover I have been very kind and posted a spoiler picture which will help place you within a few metres of the cache. You need to study the picture. There are no other clues to the cache hide, size or type. Remember this is a 'Slateman' Cache and some of them can be tricky to sniff out!! Good Luck!
