During the year 1994, tennis star John McEnroe was supposedly in St Louis County, practicing his tennis strokes. He got very upset at his new TAD Davis tennis racket; he swore and threw it off in the woods. Tennis star Jimmy Connors was sitting in the stands hollering at McEnroe! People observing McEnroe's behaviour estimated the racket and 3 tennis balls travelled over 1000 feet. Nobody could find the racket or balls! The value of the TAD Davis racket is probably priceless today.
