Welcome to Plainmoor! Home of the Mighty Gulls, Torquay United! Plainmoor was opened in 1921 and has been the home of Torquay United ever since. It currently has a capacity of 6,500. Interestingly for the 2018/19 season it was also home to Truro City whilst both teams played in the National League South, meaning that for Torquay's 'away' fixture against Truro on January 1st 2019 there were 2760 away fans, 54 times the number of 'home' fans!

At the second waypoint you will find a blue plaque. The birth and death years of the person commemorated are EFGH-JKLM.
