Geocache Description:

Narrabeen is a beachside suburb of northern Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, 23 kilometres northeast of the business district, shared by the local government area of Northern Beaches Council and the Northern Beaches region. The bay was named Broken Bay by James Cook as he sailed past. Narrabeen Lagoon, also known as Narrabeen Lake, is a large estuary on Sydney's Northern Beaches, popular for recreation and wildlife viewing. It's a haven for various water sports, bushwalking, and picnics, with a multi-use trail surrounding the lagoon. The lagoon is known for its diverse birdlife, including the White-bellied Sea Eagle.
