I placed this Geocache while riding my recumbent trike 25 miles from Brookville to Climax Tunnel. I stopped and rested at this picnic shelter and I noticed how peaceful and serene the area was, quite possibily my favorite area of the Redbank Valley Trail yet. Looking at my GPSr I had noticed that it was ~12 miles back to Brookville, and ~13 more miles to the Climax Tunnel.
The trail is open to the public year round from dawn until dusk.
