Benvenuti al parco Robert e Olave Baden-Powell, chiudete il cancellino per favore!
Questo parco è intitolato ai fondatori dello scoutismo, nato nel 1907, e del suo corrispettivo femminile, il guidismo, tre anni dopo: movimenti educativi che si basano sull’apprendimento attraverso l’esperienza, la vita all’aperto, il gioco e il servizio verso gli altri, con l'obiettivo di aiutare bambini e ragazzi a crescere come persone libere, responsabili e solidali, vivendo l’avventura in gruppo e a contatto con la natura.
Il parco ospita al suo interno una piccola area giochi e alcune panchine, dove è molto frequente incontrare cani a spasso con i loro proprietari - spesso sono anche ben contenti di due carezze e di quattro chiacchiere! Inoltre crescono molti alberi da frutto, molti piantumati di recente e nella parte più alta dell'area, da cui si gode un bel panorama inusuale sui quartieri Barca, Saragozza e oltre; si scorgono anche le forme dell'Ospedale Maggiore, le torri faro dello Stadio Dall'Ara. Guardando a monte invece potete notare il vecchio pilone della funivia (wiki:it), costruita nel 1931 e dismessa nel 1976, che portava al Santuario di San Luca.
La cache è nascosta in un posto che potrebbe diventare facilmente fangoso, quindi se è umido occhio a non sporcarvi! E una volta trovata, gentilmente rimettete tutto com'era :)

Welcome to the Robert and Olave Baden-Powell Park - please close the gate behind you!
This park is dedicated to the founders of scouting, created in 1907, and of its female counterpart, guiding, three years later: educational movements based on learning by doing, outdoor life, play, and service to others. Their aim is to help children and young people grow into free, responsible, and caring individuals, living adventure together and in close contact with nature.
Inside the park you’ll find a small playground and some benches, where it’s quite common to meet dogs out walking with their owners - they’re often happy to enjoy a couple of pats and a friendly chat! Many fruit trees grow here, most of them planted recently, especially in the higher part of the area, from which you can enjoy an unusual view over the Barca and Saragozza neighborhoods and beyond; you can even spot the outline of the Ospedale Maggiore and the beacon towers of the Dall’Ara Stadium. Looking uphill, you can also see the old pylon of the cable car (wiki:it), built in 1931 and closed in 1976, which once carried people up to the Sanctuary of San Luca.
The cache is hidden in a spot that can easily get muddy, so if the ground is damp, watch out not to get dirty! And once found, kindly put everything back as it was :)
