C’mon out to Fullerton’s Corner Market on the beautiful Kingston Peninsula for an ice cream social and a chance to meet some REALLY serious geocachers! I have been geocaching since 2001 but in 2013 while visiting a long-time friend in Arizona I made the innocent request ‘can we pop across the state line so I can get a geocache in Utah?’ ‘A WHAT?’ she said… later that day LakeGal44 was born and she has not stopped geocaching since. She even met her husband, wanablee thru geocaching… I’m surprised they didn’t hide in a giant box and make their guests “find” them! Together they travel across North America to attend events and to find geocaches. Earlier this summer that included Alaska and Hawaii (where she made her 13,000th find, Hawaii’s oldest cache) so why not an event here in New Brunswick, eh?
So come join the fun, welcome LakeGal and wanablee to NB, enjoy some ice cream (YUM!), have your photo taken in front of the giant wall of pumpkins, and take a selfie with the bright orange LakeGal geo-Jeep. There is also my LFL cache (GC8BCQF) on site for those who haven’t found it yet. If you are a reader bring a book to trade.
There will be designated parking down Williams Wharf Rd in a mowed field just past the Market on the right (see co-ords). Please park there rather than in front of the store as they will have lots of customers coming and going on a busy fall Sunday.
