1st Oct - Postcarding the View Point clearance RWH
Parking: Off road parking is available at the parking waypoint. Please note that this is NOT the main Robinswood Hill car park.
Where: We will meet at the parking coordinates 0930 before heading on up to the headline coordinates. If you are arriving after time I've added a trail ahead waypoint to make sure you are on the right track.
What: We will be looking to open up the view point, cutting back any growth that ruins the view! As it's also World Postcard day, we will have some materials to make your own postcard at break time. You also get a souvenir if you happen to attend an event today (CITO's count).
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance. We ask you to bring your own gloves and if you have then shears and loppers. Don't worry if you don't have them as the ranger will have a supply.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
Please do bring a drink as it can be thirsty work, especially after all that up hill!
