Pardinina Open Beer Well
Water well at the end of Pardi Street was supposed to become an open beer well under Ämmapets’ leadership. There was an agreement with the brewery that fresh beer would flow from the well, but until the well was closed, townspeople could only get water from it. Ämmapets blames the brewery for the failure to realize the idea, claiming they betrayed him.
Football Stadium, Luna Park, Tunnel
There was a real plan on paper. The plan included a top-down drawing of a stadium with the word "Luna Park" written next to it. The stadium and Luna Park were supposed to be connected by a tunnel, allowing people to conveniently walk to the Luna Park after a football match. Various kiosks were planned around the Luna Park.
Ämmapets himself estimated the project’s maximum cost at 800 million. In reality, the idea was never realized, and it’s known that builders are still waiting for construction materials and instructions for the project. For over 20 years, land measurements have been ongoing. They’re still measuring the land.
At zero, at the beginning of the famous Pardi Street, was also the starting point of the illustrious journey of Pärnu’s renowned businessman Kert Ämmapets.
