About the Mural and the Music
Legend has it Jerry Garcia was about to launch into a jam when inspiration struck. He set down his stash, picked up his guitar, and let the music flow. After the last notes faded, the stash was forgotten… until now. Your mission is to recover what Jerry left behind.
The Mural
This cache is hidden beneath a vibrant mural of Jerry Garcia, painted by local artist Steven Teller. Teller is known for his bold, flowing lines and use of color that feels alive, as though the walls themselves are humming with energy. His work often features musical and natural themes, which makes his tribute to Jerry especially fitting.
If the style looks familiar, it might be because Teller also created the striking Wildflower House in Vilano Beach—another St. Augustine landmark where he transformed an entire home into a massive canvas of swirling blossoms and bright patterns. His murals have become part of the region’s visual identity, blending fine art with public space in ways that stop you in your tracks. Find him online as Steven Teller Arts.
