On my wall, I have an embroidery with the words “Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love." It is part of a longer poem that continues "It will not lead you astray. In the silence, there is a sacred mystery, a path that shows the way not with words but with the heart’s yearning.” from a poem or writings by Jalal ad-Din Muhammad ar-Rumi.
The words spiral around a path that also holds flowers, trees, houses and sheep. The path is marked with grass. For me, my geocaching journey has contained all of these things, plus some cows and some nice people.
You are looking for a small waterproof box. Along with the log, this box has room for some swag. I've started it off with a number of little bean-characters that are from some vintage cartoon, maybe? So good for older folks with nostalgia as well as our younger cachers if you like swag. Although most of you are out here for the find, right??
Suggested parking is in a residential area but the University owns enough of the land so there is room for several cars to parallel park on the street without being in front of a home. Please do not block mailboxes or driveways.
This is a walking and biking connector between the residences and university practice fields of various sorts, so there isn't an official hours that this path is closed. Nevertheless, use good judgement.
