                            It's time for the
                                       2025 Geocaching International Film Festival.

Are you asking yourself, "What is a GIFF?"

• GIFF is a worldwide contest for the best short film about Geocaching.

• GIFF 2025 includes an hour of carefully selected finalist films made by geocachers for geocachers.

• For the last several years Groundspeak has invited geocachers to make and submit creative, short films about geocaching. Tonight's event is an opportunity to view the films of the finalists for 2025 Geocaching International Film Festival.

• Last years's films ranged from heartfelt to serious to funny!

Please come to the Maxwell Memorial Library Community Room on Saturday November 8 from noon until 2 pm for a showing of the 2025 geoaching international film festival award winners.

Have fun with your fellow geocachers and anyone else who wishes to watch. I'll bring the popcorn.

Event details: 

• I will provide the popcorn.  Can bring your favorite beverage if you would like.

• Unlike the local theater you are welcome to sneak in your favorite movie going snacks.

• Please list any snacks or NON-alcoholic beverages you might bring to share.

• Of course, you are more than welcome to come empty handed.

• Bring a friend to share the fun.

• Trade and discover trackables.

• By attending this event, you will receive the official GIFF 2025 digital souvenir.

Please log a "Will Attend" and the number attending so we have an idea how to prepare.

Please be aware that there is a TINY chance of the library's entry undergoing repair  in which case the event will have to be cancelled or relocated.... so check back before the event.... I will post if there are any changes. They expect it to be done before the date of the event but don't have an exact timeline from the contractor yet.
