Um moinho secular completamente restaurado onde é possível ver o funcionamento tradicional da moagem de cereais, sem eletricidade, utilizando apenas a força da água.
Moinhos em ruínas:
A presença de muitos moinhos em ruínas ao longo do rio é um testemunho da época em que o ofício do moleiro era essencial para a comunidade, antes do advento da eletricidade e das moagens industriais.
Atenção
É proibido levar o carro até à margem do rio, cada um corre o risto de ser multado, fica no cosnciente de cada um.
Existe um point para embarcações.
Não visitar esta cache à noite.
Na zona existem correntes fortes e por vezes ventos fortes que podem dificultar a saida do barco para a margem.
Tens duas formas de lá chegar, a nado com colete salva vidas ou barco, a zona de desembarque é escorregadia, tem cuidado.
Cada visitante assume todos os riscos envolvidos durante a visita à cache, sendo responsáveis por avaliar as condições de execução das mesmas.

Guadiana Watermills
There is a group of watermills on the banks of the Guadiana River (Mértola), which once preserved the history of harnessing water power for grinding grain. Although in ruins, some, such as those at Azenhas and the Zangarinheira Mill (which, despite being on the Zangarinheira River, is connected to one of the Guadiana's tributaries), have been restored and operate for grinding corn, serving as tourist and educational attractions that showcase the traditions and rural life of the past.
Examples of Mills
Azenhas do Guadiana (Mértola):
A group of watermills located in a cool, wooded area on the banks of the Guadiana. The location is described as beautiful, peaceful, and photo-worthy, and also serves as a river beach.
Zangarinheira Water Mill:
A completely restored, centuries-old mill where you can see the traditional operation of grain milling, without electricity, using only water power.
Ruined Mills:
The presence of many ruined mills along the river is a testament to the time when the miller's trade was essential to the community, before the advent of electricity and industrial milling.

Driving your car to the riverbank is prohibited; everyone runs the risk of being fined; it's up to each individual.

Do not visit this cache at night.
There are strong currents and sometimes strong winds in the area that can make it difficult to get to shore from a boat.
There are two ways to get there: swimming with a life jacket or by boat. The landing area is slippery, so be careful
