In Caribbean folklore, a soucouyant, typically an old woman, is believed to shed his or her skin at night and travel in the form of a ball of fire, and to suck the blood of victims while they sleep.
Placement of this geocache has been approved by Rob Rossmanith, Park Biologist. Please remember, all wheels off the paved road when parking. Do not block any gates or trailheads and follow the posted speed limits. Do not cross the RR tracks except at the park road. Dogs must be on 6’ leash.
