Geocache Description:

Pavement Ends Letterbox

***Please do not swap out these cache containers***

These cache containers have a letterbox stamp incorporated into the container. The stamp pad will need to be provided by the cacher. These containers are special to the caches that are a letterbox so this container needs to stay in its designated location. Thank You

The geocaches in this geo-art have been hidden on the dirt roads. Most of the caches in this series will be magnetic Brown Buggers in signs. This will keep them easy to find in any weather condition. There will also be a few caches placed in or on Guard Rails, these containers will be sports drink bottles with the log in a 15 ml centrifuge tube to keep it dry.

You may want to bring a pair of tweezers to remove the log from the container. The log will be rolled up on a stainless steel rod to help keep the paper from getting wrinkled and ruined. If you roll the log back up on the rod tightly it will fit in the container with no problem. Please dont try and force the log back into the container. Remember that other cachers will be finding thsese caches after you are done with them.

It is always a challenge to keep these geo-art caches in good shape. I will be willing to provide replacement containers to groups of Cachers planning on doing many of these in one day. I would like to keep all the containers thee same as the originals. Please don’t replace containers with pill bottles. Just contact me before you plan on finding the caches using geocaching messenger and I will try to get you replacements containers. I will really appreciate any help keeping these caches in tip top condition.

If you plan on giving favorites to these caches, please just give the favorite point to the first cache in the series. https://coord.info/GCB27MJ

Finding these caches in a group is always a fun time. Please have fun finding these caches and as always stay safe!

The Story

The Cool Crew was out on yet another adventure. This adventure was a numbers run that involved a geo-art with newly designed cache containers. The containers were designed with a letterbox stamp incorporated into the container itself. These containers were made possible because a local cacher that has one of the longest cache finding streaks ever is a master of the 3D printer. His wizardry of all things 3D printed saved the day for the Mega Hider. The Dog (aka paldog0603) was the first to see these caches publish, he headed to the red phone and made the call to the other Crew members. Soon the expert navigator was out of the starting gate (Team-Gates that is). Soon the jumpers of the team were out the door (BWY Gang & Ramblin’ Rumble). The Mega hider was at it again, so a team of four was all they had for this cache run. The Crew met up on Lamplighter Trail, coolers were loaded up, cache bags were tossed in the back, and they were off. It was early in the morning and one member was still a bit groggy from lack of sleep. On the way to the customary Mc-Breakfast location the alarm bell was raised! I Can’t Find My Phone! Chaos ensued in the back seat for about five minutes until the phone in question was found. Breakfast was ordered and the Crew was off to find caches. The Navigator was working diligently to get them to the geo-art area when a voice in the back asked, did anyone solve the geo-art? A slight amount of panic ensued until one of the Crew realized that the answers were actually in the hint. These are gonna’ be sooooo….. easy RR said.
