A hellhound is a mythological or folkloric supernatural dog, often associated with the underworld, hell, or evil forces, and commonly depicted as a large, black, fiery, or shadowy canine with glowing red eyes. Cerberus refers to a monstrous watchdog from Greek mythology, typically depicted as a three-headed dog that guards the gates of the Underworld, preventing the dead from escaping and the living from entering.
Placement of this geocache has been approved by Rob Rossmanith, Park Biologist. Please remember, all wheels off the paved road when parking. Do not block any gates or trailheads and follow the posted speed limits. Do not cross the RR tracks except at the park road. Dogs must be on 6' leash.
