Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Glenaladale Estate, a 529 acre parcel of land consisting of both secluded wooded areas to open agricultural fields and impressive waterscapes. The Glenaladale School and House are being restored along with a working mixed farm and a network of interpretive trails. A Sculptural Forest (home to an Adventure Lab and a work-in-progress art project) is currently being developed along the property’s North Trail, with sculptured works of art placed along the trail to add to the cultural aspects of the Estate and the promotion of Island artists.

This 11-cache series is placed along the North Trail (7 caches), the Connector Path (1 cache) and the southern Black Brook Trail (3 caches), currently the only developed and cleared trails at the time of placements. More placements may follow as additional trails are developed. All trails are restricted to hiking, biking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing — NO motorized vehicles are permitted.

All containers are small and winter-friendly; bushwhacking is not required. Total walking distance is less than 3 km and should take less than 90 minutes.
