Centaur Traditional Cache

Another human and animal hybrid from Greek legend is the centaur. Centaurs have the body of a horse with the head and chest of a human. While these creatures were widely depicted as wild, there was a centaur named Chiron (or Cheiron) who possessed great wisdom. He tutored several characters of Greek myth.

Placement of this geocache has been approved by Rob Rossmanith, Park Biologist.  Please remember, all wheels off the paved road when parking.  Do not block any gates or trailheads and follow the posted speed limits. Do not cross the RR tracks except at the park road. Dogs must be on 6’ leash.
