Welcome to Heintz Open Space! This is a cool little park in Los Gatos with great views from a lot of spots. Unfortunately, the location of this cache does not have any views, even though it's on the Valley View trail. You're looking for a small cache with larger camo. Some local cachers might recognize it from Cachin' the Bay 2023, where it lived for 2 years as a Wherigo final placed for that event. I retired it to make room for something new, but I love the cache and wanted it to have a forever home. You will definitely recognize it when you see it!
To get here, take the Valley View trail to the provided waypoint and look for an already-established geotrail. The cache is about 125 feet off the main trail, but the route follows the geotrail and is easy to navigate. The cache is in plain sight once you get close. There's some poison oak in the vicinity, but none in the immediate area of the cache.
