Geocaching International Film Festival (acheived official status!)
A chance to watch Geocaching on the big screen!
Doors open at 7.30pm. Film starts at 8.00pm prompt and lasts about an hour.
The whole event finishes at 9.30pm
Entry is by donation with a suggested minimum of ÂŁ3.00 per adult, ÂŁ1 for kids. (On the door only)
This event is hosted in the 1st Britania Scout Hut.. (a brick built fairly luxurious building that turned 40 this year).

If you've been before, you'll remember that the GIFF Weekend is your chance to watch the entire reel of all the films that have made the final of the 2025 Geocaching International Film Festival.
Over this weekend only, geocachers all over the world are hosting geocaching events at which these films will be shown publicly for the first time. So pop your popcorn, grab a friend, and get ready-it’s a global geocaching movie event!
The film reel itself will be shown between 8.00pm and 9.00pm but come along from 7.30pm for pre-movie banter, trackable swapping etc. After the event there'll be time for discussions etc. Children are welcome with an accompanying adult.

From finding new favorite places, people, and puzzles, geocaching is full of moments that should be captured on film and shared with the global geocaching community. The Geocaching International Film Festival is a place for geocachers to showcase their talents and put their creativity to the test.
The global geocaching community is waiting to see YOUR story at the Geocaching International Film Festival.
The films will commence at 20:00 and should be finished by 21:00.
