I've done a fair amount of caching in Israel (when visiting my son), and would enjoy meeting some of the stalwarts that I've only had communication with via logs.
So, after the day after Chag is over (for me), come meet me in Yarkon Park for a bit of conversation and story swapping.
This will be my 7th event hosted, but only my 4th that does not require a boat. You can actually walk up, although, if you do show up via boat, well, style points for sure.
I'll be the bald guy with the beard. No, that's not right. The one wearing a hat. No, still not right. Just look around for a charming gentleman, and that might possibly be me. If that person speaks Ivrit, it is most definitely NOT me.
(Please note - I'd originally scheduled this for the TLV Promenade, and decided I'd rather be outside of the city. Please don't go to the Promenade. I won't be there)
עשיתי לא מעט גיאוקשינג בישראל (כשביקרתי את הבן שלי), והייתי ממש שמח לפגוש כמה מהחבר'ה המסורים שרק התכתבתי איתם דרך הלוגים.
אז, אחרי שהחג נגמר (מבחינתי), בואו לפגוש אותי בפארק הירקון לשיחה קלילה והחלפת סיפורים.
זו תהיה הפעם השביעית שאני מארח אירוע, אבל רק הרביעית שלא דורשת סירה. ממש אפשר להגיע ברגל, אבל אם תגיעו בסירה, טוב, זה בהחלט שווה נקודות סטייל.
אני אהיה הבחור הקירח עם הזקן. לא, זה לא נכון. זה עם הכובע. לא, גם זה לא ממש נכון. פשוט תחפשו ג'נטלמן מקסים, ואולי זה יהיה אני.
