Wombats poo is cube shaped. Trust me, I have seen some (see below) when on a trip to Tasmania recently with a rare two legged Wombat.
On a trip to a sanctuary we were told this was because the Wombat intestine is so long, it takes four times as long as other animals to digest it's food, that by forming in cubes it takes up less space. Otherwise the poor Wombat would be even fatter.
To celebrate International Wombat Day on 22nd October we decided to make some of our own Wombat Poo for you to come and look at.
