Donovan Park used to be a golf course, managed by the Peoria Parks District. Several years ago the golf course was closed and this location was re-purposed as an excellent city park. The park is at the center of a vibrant part of town with shops and restaurants nearby. The solid-rock-seekwell family enjoys visiting Donovan Park for many reasons. We've enjoyed geocaching, CITO events, walks, orienteering, star-gazing, and eating at Cyd's.
You will pass this location if you enter Donovan Park by vehicle. (There are many ways to enter it by foot and/or bicycle!) Although it's tempting to park feet away from where this cache is placed, please proceed to the parking waypoint and enjoy the short walk to the cache. The north side of the access road is marked No Parking.
