At one point all three of the Hoff Boys were in California, so I made regular visits to Torrance, Whittier, and Turlock. Lil Hoff is the only lad left in the Golden State so my trips have slowed down. This weekend, the Hoff family will converge on Whittier to watch a mens soccer game ... Go Poets!.
I like to attend and host events when I travel. I had hoped to get one scheduled for Sunday, Oct 19th ... but time got away from me ... and thus I will host a "before I leave town" gathering at the gazebo in Central Park. This is near the statue of John Greenleaf Whittier who gave the town and the College their names.
This is a Monday morning which may not be the best time for many local cachers. But ... if you find yourself with some time on your hands, come by to say hello and earn a smiley. I can come earlier or stay later if necessary.
but I have checked the calendar and there are no close events today. I shall host one of my own. We will meet near the John Greenleaf Whittier statue in Central Park. If it is raining (which happend on my last event here), we will hang out in the gazebo which is a bit west of the statue. If anyone needs to come a bit earlier or later, let me know and I can adjust my plans.
